Code of Conduct

For Members, Club Officials and Guests

The following Code of Conduct has been designed and is intended for Club members (and guests) as a guidance/point of reference providing the minimum standards expected. Serious or persistent flouting of this Code of Conduct will be considered as inappropriate behaviour and may lead to the withdrawal of Club membership, at the discretion of the Club Board and according to the Club Constitution and Rules

Membership is mandatory for anyone wishing to use the facilities

General Conduct

  • Uddingston Cricket & Sports Club is committed to this Code of Conduct
  • We are essentially a family Club and for this reason inappropriate conduct and/or language in and around the Clubhouse will not be tolerated
  • If any member of the Club has a grievance concerning the behaviour of another Club member or guest, they should bring this to the attention of the Club Board if it cannot be resolved at the time


Use of the Club House

  • Members are expected to keep the Clubhouse tidy during use
  • Membership cards must be carried at all times and produced when requested by Bar Staff and/or Board/Committee members (members maybe refused serviced unless they can prove membership)
  • As required by Licensing Law and the constitution, guests MUST be entered into the Visitors book. Non members will be refused service unless signed in. A member may sign in three guests per day. A non-member may enter the Club no more than three times per year. Visiting teams and supporters must be signed-en bloc by the home team captain or supervising official. All members under the age of 18 are not permitted in the main bar area after 8 pm (unless at a function or participating in a sporting event)
  • Social members shall not be permitted on the upper-floor or balcony at any times unless authorised by the Management. Children under 14 are not permitted on the Balcony unless accompanied by an adult
  • Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse, and should be restricted to the designated area (s) outside


Clothing /Footwear

  • No person (s) will be allowed access to the Club in either playing or training kit, and studded footwear of any kind is not permitted anywhere except the designate changing rooms and external staircase
  • Football colours are not permitted, and anyone improperly or dirtily dressed will be required to leave the premises
